JBLM Warrior Zone
MWR program managers searching for inspiration on how to modernize their facilities should look no further than the Warrior Zone at Joint Base Lewis-Mcchord. This sprawling 30,000 square foot recreation center provides soldiers with numerous options to unwind and socialize.
Celebrity was contracted to provide sound, light and video integration services for the Warrior Zone. The result of our work was a state-of-the-art gaming center and a modern sports bar with multiple entertainment options.
This leading edge facility features 16 Celebrity Big Bad Game Box stations (8 stations in back-to-back configuration) with fully-integrated Xbox and PlayStation gaming systems. Up to 64 players can play or compete simultaneously via a realtime VTC system (live feed, worldwide capability). Custom designed dynamic isolation domes project the intense, high-fidelity sound that is demanded by today’s new-generation gamers.
Celebrity’s Big Bad Game Box systems feature our exclusive sound isolation domes that concentrate and intensify the sound for up to four players.
The Warrior Zone’s expanded computer gaming area features 70 stations, anchored with Alienware online gaming computers powered by Steam Engine.
Celebrity also provided AV integration services for the Warrior Zone’s full service sports bar, featuring multiple flat screen displays with access to live sports coverage and an automated music video player.
As many as seven different sports events can be viewed simultaneously, and optional headset system allows for silent- mode operation when appropriate for simultaneous entertainment programming.
